Adjustable one size but only if you are a small person

Bought this in store as I’ve had a gym accident and need a brace to help me while waiting for x ray results etc. I’m a regular plus size person, size 18 approx and bought this assuming it should definitely fit me. I don’t have excessively large legs etc. it’s too small, I can’t do the straps up. Immensely disappointed. Be size inclusive! You can’t claim it’s adjustable one size fits all when it doesn’t even fit someone like me who is very middle range in size.

How to use

Step 1

Place support over knee ensuring smooth side faces the skin and the hole covers the knee cap.

Step 2

While holding the support in place and stretching the leg, cross the two top straps (with brand logo) behind and above the knee and attach in front to the support.

Step 3

Cross the two bottom straps under your knee and attach them to the support. Adjust tension to desired comfort and support.

1. When and how should I wear the Knee Support?

It is recommended to wear the Knee Support during activities that lead to discomfort.
Knee Supports are usually worn directly on the skin. However, if it is more convenient to you, you can also wear it over thin, tight fitting clothes. For the Adjustable Knee Support, you should take care to apply the product without lateral folds and to position the patella ring right around your kneecap. The support can be worn on the left and the right knee. For detailed application advice see the provided information on the folding box.

2. Precautions and warnings to be considered when wearing Knee Supports

The Knee Support should only be used on clean, intact skin. While wearing, make sure the product is not uncomfortably tight and blood flow is not restriced. Avoid wearing for prolonged periods e.g. whilst sleeping.

If a rash develops, pain is prolonged or conditions worsen, discontinue use and consult a physician.
3. When should I NOT wear the Knee Support?

Do not use if you suffer rom vascular diseases or have a know allergy to any of the specific materials:
Polyester, Spandex, Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), Nylon, Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
4. Does the Knee Support contain any metal?

The Knee Support does not contain any metal. The patella cushion is made of EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate).
5. Can I wash the Knee Support?

Yes. All elastoplast Supports are made with machine-washable materials. Here’s how to care for your support: For products with Velcro® straps, fasten them securely at the place provided on the support. Machine wash your support in cold/cool water (~30ºC) using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite, do not use bleach). Lay your support flat and let it air dry; do not put it in the dryer. Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain elasticity and original fit.
6. How should I store the Knee Support?

The product should be kept in a cool and dry place.
