Elastoplast Kids First Aid Program

Welcome to the Elastoplast Kids First Aid program. We at Elastoplast are on a mission to empower the next generation of life savers by teaching First Aid from a young age. The program was created to provide teachers across Australia and New Zealand with ready-to-use lesson plans and resources to help teach basic first aid to students in the classroom. Created in conjunction with the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) and with input from practising teachers in both Australia and New Zealand, the resources are mapped to the current curriculums and geared towards Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 in Australia and Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 in New Zealand.

Beiersdorf has launched a new social mission to guide our activities going forward, providing First Aid Education to Children around the World and pledging to teach 200,000 children first aid by 2025.

The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation Inc. (ACHPER) is the leading professional association representing teachers and other professionals working in the fields of health and physical education in Australia. ACHPER works in school and community settings and has a proven record in managing projects of national significance, including curriculum development, publishing of resource materials and professional development.

Geared towards Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 in Australia and Year 1, 2 and 3 in New Zealand, all of our lesson plans and resources are mapped to the appropriate curriculum and aimed at building basic first aid awareness and knowledge in the formative early years. The resources have been created in conjunction with active teaching staff as well as with the approval and input of the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER).
