Medical Advice
If your child has an accident, when do you seek medical advice?
Most minor cuts and bruises can be treated efficiently at home with a first-aid kit. But what if you think the injury needs closer attention?
If you have any doubts, call your GP. It's always best to be on the safe side.
Deep cuts, objects embedded under the skin, large wounds and burns that are more than a reddening of the skin should always be professionally treated
See your doctor if the wound doesn't seem to be healing well. And watch out for signs of infection including redness and swelling of the skin, a yellow discharge, a bad smell or increased pain.
