Blisters & Sore Spots
Blisters & sore spots
A night out on high heels or a day of shopping are great pleasure. Unfortunately activities like this can cause blisters - don't let them ruin your fun.
Prevention
Buy shoes that are comfortable and fit properly.
Feet tend to swell during the day so it’s better to buy new shoes in the afternoon or evening.
Let your feet breathe during the day. Choose materials that are flexible and breathe, such as leather or nylon mesh.
Take an extra pair of socks and shoes with you.
Treatment
Never open a blister, the blister skin roof protects against infection.
If the blister opens accidentally, don’t remove the outer skin layer. Use a special blister plaster to protect against dirt and bacteria.
Blister plasters are designed to reduce pain and help blisters heal faster.
Only change the blister plaster when it peels off by itself. This will give the blister a little time to heal in peace.
