Muscle tension and pain: where does it come from?

Today’s modern lifestyles plus being overweight and little or lack of exercise are responsible for the growing incidence of muscle pain i.e. neck, shoulder and back pain. Actually 85% of the general population will suffer from back pain at some point in their lives.

What do we do wrong?

  • sudden movements, bending and twisting

  • strenuous activities leading to overexertion

  • bad or monotonous posture (e.g. sitting too long at a computer)

  • exposure to sudden changes of temperature

  • over-stressful and emotional tensions

The most common muscle pain affects the shoulders, neck and lower back. How can we treat it?
