Heat is a well established treatment for muscular pain and stiffness. Over the past thousand or so years, heat has been used for the treatment of pain through the use of sunlight, heated sand and heated water. Today heat is used through many forms to relieve back pain, forms such as hot water bottles, heat-packs, wheat bags and creams, etc. Elastoplast Therapeutic Heat Pad combines the advantages of heat with the convenience of an adhesive patch application.

Elastoplast Therapeutic Heat Pad available in two sizes, large and small. The large Therapeutic Heat Pad is predominantly used for the back area, while the small Therapeutic Heat Pads are for the neck and shoulder region.

How Heat Therapy Works

Once the heat pad is exposed to oxygen in the air by opening the sealed pack, the natural ingredients contained within the heat pad react to create a heat sensation. The heat develops over a 30 minute period to reach a temperature of approximately 40°C, lasting for up to eight hours.

The heat helps to relax tight, cramped muscles by encouraging improved blood flow.

Elastoplast Therapeutic Heat Pad offer a non invasive option to treat muscular pain. The pads are applied externally to the body, adhering conveniently to the skin.
